The OPTOTRAK PROseries Optical Trackers is the centrepiece of NDI's metrology offerings offering high accuracy, high performance and ease of use, in three different measuring volumes. It is positioned as a portable CMM offering fast and easy measurements.
A Dynamic Measuring option with OPTOTRAK captures up to 4,500 measurements per second of fast, complex motion of multiple objects (up to 512 targets) over large volumes with exceptional precision - facilitates advanced motion analysis of 3D and 6DOF measurements changes over time, dynamic motion measurement of vibrations, travelled paths, velocities, accelerations, displacements, positions, orientations, deformations, and angles – allowing the dynamic behaviour of parts, structures and assemblies to be measured and studied.
A handheld touch-probe option with OPTOTRAK allows good access to features over large areas for quick shop-floor computer-aided inspections with real-time part-to-CAD comparisons.
The ScanTRAK TM laser scanner option allows efficient large volume high density point-cloud inspections and reverse engineering or modelling on the shop-floor.
NDI also offers an entry-level VicraSCAN TM solution using unique self-positioning technology, ideal for creating 3D models for design, archival and advanced visualization.
