The Universal Length Measuring Instruments can be used for measuring plain gauges (cylindrical plug and ring gauges, taper gauges, snap gauges), thread gauges, indicating measuring tools (micrometers, dial gauges, indicators, bore gauges) and for testing high-precision parts, like diameters of measuring balls, bearings, parts of transmission shafts as well as diameters between/over balls/pins on gears and gear gauges with straight and involute profiles.

The systems are equipped either with a readout unit or with a PC with PC interface card, with the new, efficient LMI-MS measuring software.
