Finance & Admin Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance, as well as leading the administrative team to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
  • Financial Management -  Maintain and manage all accounts payable/ receivable (AP/AR) transactions, controls and accounting procedures, develop and implement financial policies and procedures, prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts, monitor cash flow and ensure efficient use of financial resources, collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise financial performance, and stay up to date on best practices to recommend and implement improvements to systems.
  • Administrative - Lead and mentor the Admin team to ensure efficient office operations incl.  internal office systems, file management systems, CRM and database systems, collaborate with other departments to streamline cross-functional processes, coordinate and oversee import and export activities, including customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Be a leader and make things happen! Continually develop your skills/knowledge to deliver highly informative and actionable finance and accounting information.

  • Reports to the Managing Director and your Country Manager or as designated.

Pre-Requisites

  • Good recognised Degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Financial management and operations roles or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and communicating in the English language
  • Good IT skills plus knowledge of Sage ERP 300 (ACCPAC) Accounting Software and strong understanding of local financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • A team player with strong inter-personal communications skills, integrity and discipline
  • Pro-active, meticulous and hands-on
