SURFCOM CREST adopts an optical fiber-based laser interferometer, one of ACCRETECH's constituent technologies, and incorporates a newly developed highly stable optical path type laser interferometer having a resolution of 0.31nm. This system features a dynamic range as well as a resolution ratio of 42,000,000:1. This means that in a single trace you can evaluate contour profiles in wide ranges and also hidden fine surfaces.

Due to the wide measuring range of 200mm for the X-axis (horizontal direction) and 13mm for the Z-axis (vertical direction), the surface texture and the contour shape can be evaluated once over a broad range with one trace. In addition, with the SURFCOM CREST-T, a model with a drive unit tilt device that can automatically control and tilt the drive unit by ±45°, you can make fine adjustments to the position and posture of the workpiece, and reduce the time and effort required for trial and error to determine whether the measurement point can be approached or not, allowing for more efficient measurement.

SURFCOM CREST is equipped with the linear motor drive tracing driver, a patented technology of ACCRETECH. Since it enables high speed drive, the time for approaching workpieces in manual mode, creating CNC programs and drive during CNC measurement is reduced. This improves efficiency throughout the inspection process, from preparation to measurement.
