• Multi-Mode Scanning
  Hexagon's handheld 3D scanners have 3 easily selectable measurement modes, tailored for key application types. Standard mode uses 22 blue laser lines and a single blue laser line to cover large areas. Fine mode uses 5 parallel blue laser lines for high-resolution data of small features. Line mode uses a single laser line for scanning in hard-to-reach areas.
   
• Dynamic Scanning
  With on-part targets, inspection can happen without the need for time-consuming secure part fixturing – the part can be freely moved, on a turntable or even by hand, and the scanner will maintain perfect measurement within a unified coordinate system.
   
• Target-Free Scanning
  The MARVELSCAN's built-in camera delivers photogrammetry functionality that allows for inspection without the need for targets on the measurement object. The system uses an external target wall for referencing, which drastically reduces part preparation time and makes it ideal for the scanning of large or delicate parts as well as repetitive scanning processes.
   
• Photogrammetry
  The MARVELSCAN's built-in camera delivers additional functionality as a standalone photogrammetry system that allows for enhanced scanning accuracy for medium-to-large part sizes using standard photogrammetry targets.
   
• Wireless Scanning
  With an optional Wireless Scanning Module, Hexagon's handheld 3D scanner range is the first on the market to offer truly wireless measurement. The scanner is simply connected to a lightweight belt pack that contains connectivity and power supply technology, and real freedom of movement is the result.
   
• Holes and Slots
