CASSEL Inspection gravity feed metal detectors, also known as a drop through metal detector or a free fall metal detectors, are designed to detect metal contamination in continuously flowing free-falling granules or powders. Ideal for inspecting dry, bulk applications including sugar, flour, plastic granules or gravel, tablets or capsules, and more.

The sensitive sensors in the CASSEL Inspection gravity feed metal detectors detect even the smallest metal contaminants, and fast-switching separation flaps discharge them directly from the product stream during production.

All gravity feed metal detectors are custom-made and can be individually adapted to the requirements of the respective production environment.

The METAL SHARK® GF (Gravity Feed) is used for pipelines with free-falling products to detect metal contaminants in continuously flowing granulates or powders such as sugar, flour, grain or spices. The sensitive sensors detects even the smallest metal contaminants, and a reactive reject device remove them directly from the product stream without interrupting production.
